Just wanted to share with you a new solo piece I wrote, based on the tune Pure Imagination. I recorded a video performance of it too (below) so you can hear it and see how to execute some of the technical parts.  Enjoy!

This is how you start your Sunday morning? Absolutely gorgeous. I love that final gliss to the harmonic. So subtle. So beautiful. I was smiling with you!

Oh my gosh, I loved that! Someday I hope to play so well! I'm an adult cello learner with a music background; only a month in and I LOVE it. This version is quite a bit past me though,.. I'll be back in a year or 3. :)

That is an exquisite tune, arrangement and performance. There is so much to learn, and learning is hard at 12, but harder at 80. I taught math 40 years so I could do this now. And I'm doing it on the bass, but in 5ths tuning, C1 G1 D2 A2. I love the bass and the cello. You are one of my heroes.
